Players: Ramos Right Man For The Job

Bandar Seri Begawan – They say two heads are better than one. The Brunei Barracudas couldn’t agree more believing that Bong Ramos’s return at the helm will make the side more organised.

Still without a win in their first three Asean Basketball League (ABL) games, the Barracudas brought back Ramos to replace American Ozell Wells as the head coach on Wednesday, and the consensus among players is that the Filipino is the right man for the job with Wells still playing an important role as an assistant coach alongside Wong Yee Chai.

Wells named new assistant

STILL in search of their first Asean Basketball League (ABL) win, the Brunei Barracudas yesterday dropped head coach Ozell Wells in favour of his predecessor Bong Ramos.

The Filipino led the team to a 6-9 record last year that saw them fall short off making the playoffs in the inaugural season, finishing fifth in the six-team tournament.

As its stands now, the Barracudas will have a tough time just finishing second from bottom.
